Description

The strep molecular test is designed to detect genetic material from strep bacteria in throat swab specimens. Accurate results in as little as 18 minutes. A molecular strep test can eliminate the need for culture confirmation testing. Please do not eat or drink 15 minutes prior to your appointment. If you test positive and meet certain criteria, the Gatherwell care team will be able to provide you with a prescription (any medication prescribed is not included with this certificate.)
